One of Dickens' greatest characters - you've caught his villainy well: I seem to remember a TV adaptation in which he was played by Trevor Peacock.... but then: the memory is a creative thing! It was probably someone else entirely.

Lew this is outstanding and one of the your best , definitely a dodgy character and one to avoid. He does however remind me of one of my old sergeants, he had his finger in every pie , as we said dodgy as a nine Bob note.

When unsure what to do I head for Dickens. Done this chap before, try to do him differently each time. Watercolour and coloured pencil on Arches HP paper. (My second pic using this paper. Liking it.)
