Made me smile. 😂

Nice work Lewis, his sunny disposition reminds me of a neighbour I had some years ago !

Never anything wrong in art, no one knows what went wrong, unless you tell people. This is fab.

Great adjustment on the hoof to this wonderful character Lew

Love the back story to this and, as always, a very good drawing which made me smile along with the limerick

Made me chuckle Lewis. Good work.

That is great. Lewis - a wonderful amusing start to my week!!

A Monday morning smile, thank you.

A fine looking character Lew, and the limerick is really good. I. Impressed that it’s not gone to waste , to easy to bin something, a lot of skill needed to adapt and make it into something.

Great start to Monday morning, excellent picture Lew.

I like the black background! It makes the man's face - and that nose! - stand out.

Love how your characters always seem to relate to someone we know Lewis. Brilliant as always.

Don't know anyone from 'Kilrose' but I definitely know him from somewhere!

Poor guy...Thanks for the smile, again, Lewis!

Thanks very much as ever for your comments.

Great how it’s turned out. You never know when you start these things.

Brilliant painting and very clever limerick.

Loving the face 😂💓

A great character as always 😁

Super-Duper Lewis!!!!

This was a larger painting about a man who collected wall masks...they all looked a bit like him. Made a complete hash of the background. Liked this head. Cropped pic, painted out background with black, and made up a limerick. So my poor character not only get stuck with a bulbous conk, he got stuck with a limerick too. Mixed media started out on A3 size w/c paper, ended up about a4.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
