They are a;; up to your great standard, Lewis - superb!!

Oh, all those wonderful characters Lewis, top notch as always

I laughed when I examined the guy top left…that belt tight around his gut, properly dressed in his own way.

That lovely fellah top left is clearly unhappy that he hasn't been invited to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Judging by the way the Hatter is sticking his tongue out, neither has the chap bottom right (Mr Grandgrind, surely), but then Mr Gradgrind doesn't seem to be appropriately appreciative of the naval hero, bottom left, who has, surely, escaped form a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta.

Four excellent characters Lew , each one drawn beautifully.

Odds and ends should be in a book Lew , brilliant characters.

I wish my odds and ends were half as good, Lewis!

Brilliant characters Lewis and the balloon is a clever touch.

All four are brilliant Lewis, but I love the 'bruiser,' his stance is perfect as is his grip on the club and the belt tightly drawn around his beer belly as he's unable to fasten his trousers. Your drawing skills are top drawer Lewis but your observation skills are second to none.

All four are great, but agree especially with Russell’s comment.

As always I'm totally amazed. I certain each one could tell an interesting tale.

The top left character is priceless Lewis. Nobody would mess with him and the others are of course a mix of characters we can always relate to.

Super characters- it’s all the little details you put in that make them so amazing.

Thank you very much for your comments.

Brilliant, I am amazed every single time by your work!

Amazing characters - wonderful, Lewis!

I'm a real colourist, so I love top left. I can just imagine him sitting in a pub balancing a pint on that belly!

Excellent pen and pencil work.

Love our modernised cave man!

Couple of pen drawings, a pencil drawing and an attempt at painting a watercolour with just brushes...can't manage brushes these days, so used a pen to salvage the pic.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
