Just re-read Alice's encounter with Humpty. The egg man distains to look directly at her, says words mean what he says they mean, displays only a loose grip on mathematics while discussing the number of 'un-birthdays' and we all know he's headed for a fall. Why it should remind me of politics may be down to all the party conferences on the news...there may be a few falls on the way there. A harsh business.

Superb, Lewis. Enjoyed your interesting comments on the political situation, too!!

Indeed yes, Lewis...and not just in UK!!

'Tis a pity you never became a book illustrator, or a political pundit. Either way would brighten our lives.

Excellent work Lew , it’s well drawn , the little tucks and fold in clothes etc are so realistic.

Like your comments Lewis and what a great illustration

Sublime illustration…

Absolutely superb Lew , brilliant artwork.

Your drawings and paintings really are the tops Lewis.

A brilliant illustration. I always thought Alice in Wonderland was bonkers, but then so is politics!

Indeed Lewis and a particular Humpty Dumpty is two thirds on the way down from hitting the floor. The merry month of May I expect. Excellent illustration.

Oh this is fantastic Lewis!

Thank you very much for having a look and your generous comments.

Brilliant creativity!

Wonderful illustration Lew.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
