The Preservation of Antique Jokes - Number 1271 by Lewis Cooper

My experience with Job Centres is a bit limited, but - the last time I went to one, I thought they'd probably be a lot more successful finding jobs for dogs than they were at helping people into work. (You can always trust me to kill a joke by drawing on my inner cynic...) Another good'un, Lew - love the expression of hapless eagerness on the human's face; and the weary contempt on the dog's.

Nothing like a smile on a Friday morning - haven't heard this one for a while. I think the last time it came my way the dog was a bricklayer.

Very funny and very good and great expressions as always

Excellent , Lewis - made me laugh!

Great expressions Lewis, like something from a saucy postcard

Made me smile, love it !!

Good interpretation Lewis and a super painting.

Great expression on the dogs face.

Brilliant, the old ones are the best, love the dog.

Well I for one hadn’t heard this joke, where have I been!? I also love the expressions especially of the dog. Love it.

So good. Love the dog’s pose.

Years ago I wanted a change…from teaching. I filled in a careers advisory questionnaire…the perfect job for me came up as a …circus clown. No kidding! I didn’t go for it.

As always many thanks for your comments. Wow…that’s some career choice, Marjorie.

Nearly missed this Lewis. Hilarious as always. You can always put a smile on my face. Thanks for that.

Great image Lew. Raised a big smile

This tickled me. It's the little details - like the man impatiently drumming his fingers on the paperwork.

Thank you for another smile, Lewis!

The dog's nonchalant expression is priceless Lewis, brilliant.

Wonderful expressions Lew, especially the dog.

Fabulous expressions, you always do well 😀
