Lovely! Scene of the bread riots I was told!

Thank you very much Linda. Very big riots involving the military, 1831 or there abouts, buildings burned to the ground, people killed, goods stolen including casks of wines and spirits. When I was a member of the Bristol Savages we had on display, a bottle of un opened rum that was taken from one of the houses.
