Just heard today that John McCombs died in January  - born in 1943, and a fine oil painter.   If it has been Damien Hurst, it would have been all over the news, wouldn't it....?

Thank you for sharing this sad news , such a loss he was a superb artist , his work will live on . Yes it would have been in every paper and news station if it had been several other artists.
