Well, had a go at this medium. My understanding of alcohol inks is as much as when I first started watercolour painting, so I'll keep trying. My first attempt didn't go as planed, no surprise, there. I've cleaned the Nara paper ready for the next attempt. Ended up with the second picture, sprayed it with a little isopropyl for the spotty effect, see how this turns out a bit later. There's so many beautiful paintings using this medium, I'll not be giving up.
Not so good, this time.
