Hi. Started this some time ago. Can't decide if I should let it be. or add colour. Either full or just some. I've been exploring just adding blue. To only the sky or the sea. But not both. And ether with shadow or not.????

Sometimes we’ve spent time on something we don’t feel quite satisfied with but are too worried about spoiling all the hard work. Why not take a few prints of this and experiment with it? That way your original will be “ unspoiled”. Playing around is vital if you want to develop. A few studies employing various approaches could be interesting.

It works so well as a drawing that I don't think it really needs colour, but Marjorie's suggestion is excellent.

Sometimes when I have been undecisive then given something a go (like adding colour), and it doesn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, I tell myself the exploration was more valuable than the end result... I may not be as satisfied as I'd hoped, with the end result, but tell myself that, had I not done it, I wouldn't have that experience to build upon for the next one.
